The Witcher 3 Game of the Year Edition Confirmed

CD Projekt RED has officially confirmed The Witcher 3 Game of the Year (GOTY) edition and it will be launching on August 30th! The GOTY edition will include the base game Wild Hunt, Hearts of Stone Expansion, Blood and Wine Expansion, and the 16 free DLC offerings from the base game. All of this will cost $50 and will be releasing for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.  Below is the announcement trailer:

Nearly 10 million copies of The Witcher 3 have been shipped since it’s release in May 2015. The game has received 250 GOTY awards. For more information on all the awards The Witcher 3 has won, click here.

The Witcher 3 was my personal GOTY in 2015 and the GOTY edition is a tremendous value for anyone who hasn’t tried this game out yet. The critically acclaimed Wild Hunt and both its expansions will keep you busy for a long time and that’s without playing a hand of Gwent!

What do you think of the GOTY edition? For anyone that hasn’t played The Witcher 3, are you going to dive in with the bundle? Leave your comments below or in the RGM forums.
