Gears of War 4: Horde 3.0 – Bringing New Changes

This game gives me the chills every time. Graphics, game play, storyline, to the last detail there is excitement. So it is with no surprise that Gears of War fans all over are excited when The Coalition released a griping trailer to announce the premier of Gears of War 4: Horde 3.0.

Horde 3.0, the title for the new multiplayer horde mode in Gears of War 4 will add features like character classes, build-able defenses and damage bonuses to assist in holding the line against mobs of enemies. Watch the trailer below:

Yes it is a revamp of the game but there will still be aspects that will remain unchanged such as:

  • Up to five players will face off against 50 waves of increasingly difficult enemies. Enemies get tougher with each coming wave,
  • Every 10 rounds still triggers a boss wave.
  • In the game’s single player campaign, players will fight against new adversaries like the robotic DeeBees and the annoying hulking Swarm.

So what is new? Well, Gears of War: Horde 3.0 will be class based just like Gears of War: Judgement’s Survival and Overrun modes. Also Gear Cards will power up the characters even more than before by increasing the damage of particular weapons or adding carrying capacity for ammunition. But it looks like the biggest change to Horde 3.0 is the new Fabricator tool. It allows players to construct defenses, turrets and weapons anywhere on the map to push back invading monsters.

The game is set to launch on Xbox One and PC on October 11th. We will update you with more information as they come to us.
