Gears of War 4 Launch Trailer drops, pre-order to play 4 days early

Microsoft have released a new trailer for Gears of War 4 in time for its launch. As one of the most anticipated games of the year, and possibly the biggest console exclusive on Xbox One to date, Gears of War 4 is sure to be a big hit.

Narrated by Marcus Fenix, the trailer opens with a peaceful village under attack by a new threat in the dark of night.night-attack An aged Marcus passes on the signature COG armour to the new main characters, his son taking centre stage. cog-armourNew enemies are shown, including a large monster who looks pretty nasty, and interestingly robotic enemies. We also get a glimpse of the two Fenix’s blasting through these robot troops on a motorcycle. no-helmets
Large mechs are another method of transport showcased in the trailer. There may even be a glimpse of another returning character in a blink-or-you’ll-miss-it moment.here-comes-the-pain-train Worth noting is the emphasis the trailer puts on not fighting alone, and also family, and there’s a scene which will keep long-term fans itching to know the fate of one of the biggest characters in Gears of War, a franchise which again looks like more than just running and shooting, but one set to deliver a memorable and emotionally charged story. Set 25 years after the events of Gears of War 3, the game focuses on new protagonist J.D. Fenix, son of original star of the franchise Marcus Fenix. Gears of War 4 is released worldwide October 11 2016 for both Xbox One and Windows 10, and as part of the Xbox Play Anywhere program, where you can receive a copy on either platform digitally when buying the game on the other, and cross-platform multiplayer available.
