A new trailer was launched during this year’s Tokyo Game Show regarding the last compilation of Kingdom Hearts games that will be released in January 2017 exclusively on PS4, finishing what the 1.5 and 2.5 compilations started on PlayStation 3. It will regroup an HD remaster of Dream Drop Distance (released on the Nintendo 3DS), χ: Back Cover retold through HD cinematics (this one was a browser game released in Japan only) and 0.2: Birth by Sleep–A Fragmentary Passage (a short episode having a story following the events of the original Birth by Sleep, which can be played on the HD 2.5 Remix PS3 compilation).
With all those episodes playable on PS3 and PS4, we are now ready for Kingdom Hearts III, all stories elements from all games are now easily accessible. I know this franchise has always been one of my favorite, since the original one on PS2, and I can’t wait to go back to it.
