Dino Patti, co-founder of Playdead (developers of the critically acclaimed LIMBO and Inside) has stepped down from the studio for new challenges according to this Tweet.
Following almost 10 incredible years building Playdead from an idea to two dents in the games industry, I’m leaving to seek new challenges.

At present, there’s no telling what those new challenges are, but a cursory glance at his LinkedIn page would suggest that’s he’s going to be an “independent entrepreneur”. Whether this will be in gaming or another field is yet to be known – I mean, when the co-founder of BioWare, Greg Zeschuk, retired from gaming in 2012, he went into the world of craft beer, becoming a host of the web-series – The Beer Diaries, so who knows at this time?
Playdead have created 2 veritable masterpieces with LIMBO in 2010 and more recently, 2016’s Inside.
