We all love boss fights in our games. The bigger and more impressive, the better! Furi, from developer The Game Bakers, is billed as “all bosses” and has been garnering positive reviews from gamers since it’s release on PC and PS4. Now Xbox One owners have a chance to take on the punishing fighter as the studio has announced that Furi will soon make a home on Microsoft consoles everywhere.
There’s more good news. As a special treat for Xbox players, the upcoming title will feature an exclusive new boss fight not available in any other version. No details were disclosed about the new content save for a solitary screenshot which you can check out below.
Straight from the press page:
Furi is all about the tension of one-on-one fights against deadly adversaries. It’s an intense, ultra-responsive game with a unique mix of fast-paced sword fighting and dual-stick shooting. Each of the formidable guardians —designed by Afro Samurai creator Takashi Okazaki— has a unique and surprising combat style that requires focus and skill to defeat
No official release window for Xbox One was detailed besides “at a date to be announced”. If you simply can’t wait to go on a Furi-ous (see what I did there) boss trashing rampage, you can grab Furi right now on Steam or the PlayStation Store.
