Gears of War 4 – Full PC Specs

So Gears of War 4 Ultimate Edition on PC is released today (October 7) with the standard edition coming out on October 11, and I’m sure a lot of you PC Gamers out there are wondering these questions: “Will my PC be able to handle the new Gears of War 4 game?” and “If it can, how well will it handle Gears of War 4?”

Well wonder no more, here are the specs straight from the horses mouth:

As you can see, regardless of your PC specs, you’ll need a whopping 80GB of space and you’ll have had to take Microsoft up on their free Windows 10 upgrade. You’ll also need at least a Radeon R7 260X or NVIDIA Geforce 750 Ti GPU.

Along with these specs, the resolution and FPS targets to go with each set of specifications listed above are:

  • Minimum: 1920×1080 @ 45 FPS
  • Recommended: 2560×1440 @ 60 FPS
  • Ideal: 3840×2160 @ 30 FPS

However, although the specs listed above are for minimal, recommended and ideal, they do also note that “The minimum spec for Gears of War 4 is our target for a well performing game with good visual quality. With that in mind, the minimum spec does not use the lowest settings, leaving room for less powerful systems to still play the game.”

So, does your PC have what it takes to handle Gears of War 4? Or will you need a substantial upgrade? Let us know in the comments below, the RGM Forums or on Twitter.
