At Steam Dev Days, Valve has unveiled several new things for the HTC Vive (with more possibly coming soon).
They’ve announced new controllers and base stations. These controllers loop around your finger, allowing you to let go of the controller while playing. They also seem to be pressure sensitive, as you can use them to grab items in-game with your hands.
They’ve also announced that SteamVR is coming to Linux and OSX, which it looks like we’ll be seeing more of, according to this tweet from a Valve dev:
