Overwatch Regional eSports Finals start this week!

Although it’s still a growing eSport, it’s clear that Overwatch was always meant to rise in popularity over time as it became that next big multiplayer game like Left 4 Dead and CoD. It’s clearly on that path to everlasting longevity, and if you haven’t gotten your fill of Tracer and the gang, then you should check out the upcoming tournament this week.

The Overwatch MGA (Masters Gaming Arena) Regional Finals are starting up this week, with all the top teams from the Americas, Europe, and Asia facing off in one major international tournament. The teams competing in the tournament consist of:

overwatchWith a prize pool of $75,000 and the winners bringing home $40,000, each player will have plenty of motivation to bring their team home with a victory. The America competition has already begun, and will continue tonight at 6:00 p.m. PDT.

Europe will have their competition October 17-18 at 10 a.m. PDT and Asia will compete on October 20th and 21st at 3 a.m. PDT.

The Grand Finals won’t start until December 7th, but until then, you can watch all the Regional Finals here.
