Rogue One: A Star Wars Story Trailer #2

OK, I admit – although showing the Justice League trailer was cool, and in my honest and humble opinion, it does look like the best DC film since The Dark Knight, there was another trailer I wanted to show you beautiful people even more: Moulin Rouge One: A Parisian Star Wars Story.

Wait no. No, no, no. That’s not it at all – as much as I love Nicole Kidman (Why wouldn’t you?) this was all just a typo that got wildly out of hand, and now my boss knows that he shouldn’t challenge me -(Just for you Mick). What I really wanted to show you was the latest trailer for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, now stop thinking about the beautiful Nicole Kidman and check this out.

How amazing does this look? At first, when they announced Rogue One, I thought to myself “Is this just an attempt by Disney at properly milking the franchise with a bit of a sub-par film that they know people will go to because it has “Star Wars” in the title?” And as much as I love Star Wars, I wasn’t particularly hyped for this movie. That was until the first trailer came out, then my excitement was piqued…then this trailer hit and, well, I’m actually more excited about this that I was about The Force Awakens.

From the music, the classic Stormtroopers, the apparent minimal use of CGI in favour of sets and models, the lines like “We have hope…rebellions are built on hope!”, the battles on the ground and in Space and lest I forget – Darth Vader? This film looks absolutely out of this world – no pun intended. Rogue One: A Star Wars Story lands in theaters December 16, 2016.

  • Felicity Jones – Jyn Erso
  • Mads Mikkelsen – Galen Erso
