Considering Nintendo’s confirmation that there’ll be no new information until January 12th, we can only count on rumors now to keep things interesting until then. The latest rumors certainly have their intrigue, and best of all, they have some credibility.
Thanks to some recent tweets from insider Laura Kate Dale and multiple sources, there’s word that the Switch will be released March 17th in PAL, with the other regions receiving the system within a week of that date. The Switch is still expected to be region-free as well.
In regards to potential bundles, additional sources have stated that Nintendo has plans to release a Rhythm Heaven game with Nintendo characters. Additionally, the bundles believed to be available will be priced like:
- $260 – basic bundle w/ console and Rhythm Heaven
- $300 – Mario-themed bundle
- $340 – Zelda bundle w/ Pro controller
There’s no other information that has been leaked at the present time, but all of us will be eagerly awaiting to see more of the Switch and find out exactly what Nintendo has in store for us come release day.
