Blade Runner 2049 First Footage released, and it’s a must-see

Warner Brothers, if you don’t mind, could you just send me a link to the full movie please? Get back to me on that when you can. In the meantime, let’s talk about this trailer.

It may not be Ridley Scott directing (he IS busy with another old franchise of his after all), but with Denis Villaneuve (Arrival, Prisoners, Sicario) in the directing chair, this project has an immense amount of potential with his vision guiding the film. Then there’s the cast attached to the film, which includes Ryan Gosling (seemingly the protagonist), Harrison Ford, and Jared Leto, and you can recognize just how amazing this movie could be. There’s no look at Jared Leto’s character, but it seems that Ryan Gosling’s character is looking for Deckard, and by the end of the trailer, he finds him.

Very little plot elements are revealed, but the visuals on-display clearly indicate that this will be an impressive-looking movie with a number of screenshot-worthy screengrabs.

For anyone who hasn’t seen the original Blade Runner, be sure to check it out. For those who have, be sure to get hyped for Blade Runner 2049.

Blade Runner 2049 comes out October 6th, 2017, and stars Harrison Ford, Ryan Gosling, and Jared Leto.
