Futuristic PlayStation racing franchise, WipEout, is returning to Sony consoles everywhere this summer. Announced at the recent PlayStation Experience, the Omega Collection, as it is has been dubbed, will feature content from WipEout HD, WipEout HD Fury and WipEout 2048 including 26 reversible circuits, 46 unique ships, a ton of game modes and a mixture of new and classic music tracks. Take a look at the reveal trailer below:
The last WipEout game to hit the track was WipEout 2048 back in 2012 on the PlayStation Vita and fans of the frenetic racing series have been clamoring for a fresh title ever since. While the Omega Collection doesn’t officially count, it’s the next best alternative to getting a brand new WipEout plus it will be playable in eye-bleeding, super-fast 4K on the PlayStation Pro.
