It looks like Pixar’s automotive adventure is coming around for one last lap with the announcement of “Cars 3”.

After releasing a teaser trailer the official poster for the film was spotted on Reddit threads earlier this week announcing the movie’s release date as Summer 2017.
While the poster seems to give off some positive symbolism the trailer tells quite a different story. Many have theorized due to the dark nature of the trailer this will be Lightning’s last ride in more than just the racing circuit.
Pixar has long been a company that knows just how to hit our feelings with lessons and this time around it could be about accepting the end with the tagline of “From this moment, everything will change”. It would not be the first story about accepting that we are no longer what we once were by a Pixar movie but knowing them they will find a new way to have us all in tears by the end.
This will be the latest in Pixar sequels to becoming in the next few years with “Incredibles 2” and “Toy Story 4” coming to theaters in 2018 and 2019.
