MLB The Show 17 – PSX Gameplay Reveal Trailer

PlayStation Experience 2016 has thrown out some amazing announcements and trailers and it’s really been the early Christmas gift that keeps on giving. One of the gameplay trailers that has been revealed and gone slightly under the radar of more main event titles such as The Last of Us: Part II or the Crash Bandicoot Remasters is MLB The Show 17. Check out the trailer below from the PS4 pre-beta game build.

Regardless of your opinion of baseball, there’s no denying that this looks like an absolutely stunning title with a deal of narrative not unlike FIFA 17’s The Journey game mode. The trailer showed off a lot of what looked more like cinematics and had a focus on Ken Griffey Jr, with the end of it all looking and sounding a lot more like an HD arcade game.

I can imagine a baseball game working quite well with PSVR, much like Wii Sports worked well with the Wii Controller back in the day. MLB The Show 17 is available on March 28, 2017 exclusively on PlayStation 4.
