There was so much revealed at PlayStation Experience and besides The Last of Us: Part Two, Uncharted: Legacy and all the rest; it is easy for lesser known titles to fall by the wayside.
Ni No Kuni 2: Revenant Kingdom is the sequel to the PS3 title Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch, a well revered role-playing game, enhanced from a Nintendo DS title and animated by the world-renowned Studio Ghibli! The sequel was announced in December 2015 and a year on, a new trailer has been revealed on YouTube. You can check out trailer below:
The story follows King Evan Pettiwhisker Tildrum, who is usurped from his castle, and sets out to reclaim his kingdom. He is aided by Roland, a visitor from another world.
From the work that went into the original with the collaborations on both the music and the animations, there is certainly a lot of love that goes into the series. With over 1.9 million copies of the original sold, there will be a lot of eyes focused on the development of the sequel.
The game is scheduled to release in 2017 for PlayStation 4.
