It’s been almost 2 years since Obsidian released the critically acclaimed and incredibly popular RPG, Pillars of Eternity for the PC, and inbetween then and now they also released the equally critically acclaimed Tyranny, the review of which you can read by following this link.
Since then, there have been rumors abound about a possible sequel to Pillars, and it could be that Obsidian are teasing us all with this latest tweet, which reads:
“I used to dream that when my god came back, he would forgive us. That’s the trouble with dreams. Sooner or later, we all have to wake up.” Check it out.

Delving further into Obsidian’s official website, there’s nothing much to point towards Pillars of Eternity 2, I mean, their current poll is on who your favorite companion is and they have made a playlist on YouTube of their Pillars of Eternity Directors Commentary streams but the only other thing is that they have an job opening for a Senior Narrative Designer to work on their original IPs.
This last point could be a sign that they are starting work on a new Pillars game, but this would be pure conjecture at this point. What do you think though? Is this a tease for Pillars of Eternity 2? Or are Obsidian planning something else? Let us know in the comments below, the RGM Forums or on Twitter.
