Project Cars was a damn fine racing game if I do say so myself, and fans of the game can look forward to Project Cars 2 coming out later in 2017. When exactly, erm Septemberish?
According to a forum-post from Ian Bell, the head of Slightly Mad Studios, the developers behind Project Cars, when asked if we’d see Project Cars 2 around July or August, he responded:
“It’s still a very tight run as we’re a bit behind on GUI and Career so nothing is set in stone yet. Current guess is Septemberish.”
Also in the post, Bell confirmed that “none of the famous [car] brands are missing this time.” after there was disappointment that brands such as Ferrari and Lamborghini were missing from the first game.
It would be pretty safe to assume as well considering the support Project Cars has for VR that Project Cars 2 will come VR ready possibly even on PS VR but nothing is confirmed on that front yet.
Project Cars 2 is due to release on PC, PS4 and Xbox One in Septemberish 2017.
