We have the weekly Deals with Gold, provided as usual by Major Nelson. There is nice offering here for gamers, as Deals with Gold brings Aliens, Augments and Action. Kicking off these deals, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is a fantastic 67% off, so if you like stealth or roleplaying gamed, that’s a no-brainer. The ever-enduring Grand Theft Auto V is available for a very cheap price with some nice bonus cash, at 50-60% off, depending on the exact bundle chosen. Crime, hijinks and plenty of action are things lots of gamers will enjoy.
However, this week’s RGM recommendation is a turn-based strategy title called XCOM 2. For those new to the series, it revolves around you, the player, building a base and team. This XCOM project is then used to combat an alien menace threatening humanity. It’s brutal, as you are vastly outnumbered and outgunned. Your soldiers will die and be permanently lost. You’ll lose missions because you didn’t prepare properly. That’s okay though, that’s the point. This is a difficult game, continuing a legacy of difficult games. Ready for the challenge?
XCOM 2
XCOM 2 is the sequel to the award-winning strategy game XCOM: Enemy Unknown. Earth has changed and is now under alien rule. Facing impossible odds you must rebuild XCOM, and ignite a global resistance to reclaim our world and save humanity.
