Ubisoft was quite busy on Twitter today and some speculation can be put to rest. Ubisoft has announced three upcoming games that will release in Fiscal Year 2017.

The first is Far Cry 5:

While there’s no further details, it’s definitely confirmation this will be a mainline Far Cry game, not a spinoff like Far Cry: Primal. What’s the setting though? The lettering is certainly sterile, with blue and red highlights. I guess we’ll have to wait and find out.

The next game confirmed is, somewhat surprisingly, The Crew 2:

The original game had mixed receptions due to some odd design choices, so it’ll be interesting to see what’s changed this time around. Given that both Gran Turismo Sport and the unannounced Forza Motorsport 7 will launch this year, it might be a crowded Fall for racing games. However, given that these games are announced for Fiscal Year 2017 it might not hit this Fall.

Last however certainly not least, one we’ve all known is coming:

Well, we still don’t have confirmation of the title yet they’ve definitely reconfirmed an Assassin’s Creed game will hit this year. I imagine we’ll find out at E3 whether the leaks were true.

So there you have it, three new games that Ubisoft has announced for Fiscal Year 2017. Which are you most excited for? Personally, I’d have to say Assassin’s Creed however they could all have promise.
