We have slightly disappointing news to share. Hideo Kojima has taken to Twitter to confirm that Death Stranding will not be at E3 2017. Hideo Kojima himself however will be making an appearance to talk with Geoff Keighley at the E3 Coliseum event on June 14th.

The Twitter announcement reads:

While it’s certainly disappointing that we won’t see anything new, I feel like this is a good call. By all accounts Death Stranding is still early on in development so it makes sense to not show anything and give the limelight to other PlayStation games that are closer to release.

There’s also the question of the new image in the Twitter announcement. Just the word “Bridges” with a spider web above it. Does this mean that Jeff Bridges is possibly involved? Who knows however, Kojima has certainly amassed quite a bit of talent so far.
