Ubisoft have officially unveiled their Mario and Raving Rabbit crossover in Mario & Rabbids: Kingdom Battle for the Nintendo Switch.
Opening their E3 press conference with a fun short of two Rabbids exploring a Mario world coin box, eventually unveiling a power up mushroom which explodes the Rabbid in size! Bringing on legendary creator Shigeru Minamoto, head of Ubisoft Yves Guillemot wield weapons and mock a quick battle. The weapons, the same as those brandished by Mario in the artwork of the title.
The game promises us “a new type of Mario game”. The game is a turn based tactical adventure game and takes place in the Mushroom Kingdom. The Rabbids have somehow been transported into Mario’s world and have upset the balance of the world. Rabbit DNA seems to be affecting many elements of the Mushroom Kingdom.
There will be Rabbids turned bad and combat takes the form of a turn based arena, where your team of Mario and the Rabbids will battle together, combining different abilities, weapons and tactics to succeed.

Mario & Rabbids: Kingdom Battle will release on August 29th for Nintendo Switch.
