We’ve seen the High Elves, Lizardmen and Dark Elves all preparing for war. We’ve known for quite some time that a fourth race would be joining them. Now, the bell is tolling and they are revealed as the fourth, most secretive race joining Total War: Warhammer II: The Skaven are unleashed! The unending hordes of ratmen are here to claim the world and obliterate all that stands in their way.

The official synopsis reads:
Bursting forth from their foetid under-hives, the Skaven have revealed themselves as the fourth playable Race in Total War: Warhammer II.
Their motives obscured, the devious Skaven are a highly numerous species who inhabit vast subterranean lairs. Now, their time of prophecy is upon us, and this verminous Race have emerged to spread pestilence and mayhem across the face of the New World.
In a press release, Creative Assembly stated that “We’re as surprised as you are.” Very funny, Creative Assembly.
I enjoyed my time hands on with Total War: Warhammer II at E3 2017. Obviously, we’ll have to wait for the full release however, it certainly looks like this game is going to impress. Launching exclusively on Steam, Total War: Warhammer II releases on September 28th, 2017.
