Destiny 2 is nearly upon us. The space hopping first person shooter will launch on Xbox One and PS4 next Tuesday, September 6th. In anticipation of this, Bungie have released a new Destiny 2 live action trailer.
Starring our favorite Guardian, Cayde-6 (voiced by Nathan Fillion), it is a well put together and humorous trailer; setting the scene for the upcoming game. I have to be honest though, my immediate thought after watching the trailer was “more story in this trailer than in the whole of the first game”.

I’m a little annoyed at this trailer. I have no inclination to play Destiny 2; I fell out with the series after the DLC faff of the first one. However, after watching this I do find myself yearning to look into it more. However, I will probably pick it up when the inevitable ‘Game of the Year’ edition launches with all the DLC. I’ve still got plenty to play in the mean time.
That being said, there is a lot of buzz around Destiny 2 and I hope it lives up to the hype.
Destiny 2 is available on Xbox One and PS4 from September 6th for $59.99/£49.99. It will also release on PC October 24th for $59.99/£41.99.

(PS. Don’t mistake my criticisms of Destiny as too overly negative, I did really enjoy it for what I played; a lot. But I couldn’t afford to keep up with it after the cost of the game and expansion pass).
