After closed beta testing and some delays, Final Fantasy XV: Comrades has a new release date! The much-anticipated multiplayer expansion will release on November 15th, 2017.
The announcement was made here on Twitter:

Here’s the expansion’s synopsis:
Set in a world engulfed by darkness, the expansion casts players as a member of the Kingsglaive, with powers and unique abilities invoked from various Lucian kings, who join forces to bring the Light back to the kingdom of Lucis. Other members of Noctis’s crew including Gladiolus, Prompto and Ignis will be made playable in future game updates.
This expansion is included in the Season Pass and is also available as a separate purchase. Do note however that either an Xbox Live Gold or PlayStation Plus subscription is required to play. For more information, be sure to check the official website.
