Finally! After a long wait one of my most requested and anticipated features is on its way, Xbox Party Chat via mobile devices.
Currently in beta for Android devices, you can install the beta app here and provide valuable feedback that will assist in a more polished end product.
Microsoft currently has a variety of multiplayer games on mobile devices so this will be greatly beneficial for those who love their mobile gaming, not to mention for those who don’t currently have a functional headset on their Xbox, chucking in a walk and talk earbud set can get you back into those party chat with your mates all over the world.
No date has been provided yet for an iPhone version of the beta app or when it will roll out to the Smartglass app, we will keep an eye out and update you when the information is made available.
