No Man’s Sky heading to Xbox One this summer

No Mans Sky

Hello Games’ ambitious open-world space exploration game, No Man’s Sky, is getting a massive update and heading to Xbox One this summer.

Titled, No Man’s Sky NEXT, this update opens the door to the Xbox platform for the first time.

While the current trend from Microsoft is cross-platform play, we’re sure that question is on everyone’s minds. The Atlas Rises update introduced joint exploration with the ability to communicate with others via orbs that would appear nearby. While a step in the right direction, this update would be a perfect time to enable cross-platform play to explore with anyone in the No Man’s Sky universe.

No Man’s Sky Next will be free to current owners however, Xbox fans will receive all content (Foundation, Pathfinder, Atlas Rises, and NEXT) with 4K HDR support for Xbox One X.

Despite, it’s rocky start, we’re happy to see that the Hello Games team have continued to listen to their fanbase and make improvements over the last few years.
