Xbox All Access Officially Announced

Xbox All Access

Looks like the cat is now officially out of the bag. Yesterday we spoke about the rumours surrounding the supposed Xbox All Access service and the benefits it may offer to gamers, and today we now have official confirmation and details about what the service entails.

To begin with, this service is only being offered in the U.S at Microsoft Stores, so you can scratch yourself off the interested list if you don’t meet those criteria.

The service offers an Xbox One S (1TB) or Xbox One X (1TB) at no upfront cost, instead, you pay a monthly fee which also includes the Xbox Game Pass and Xbox Live Gold Membership.

  • No upfront cost
  • One low monthly price
  • 0% APR for 24 months*
  • 24 months of Xbox Game Pass
  • 24 months of Xbox Live Gold
  • Limited-time offer for qualified customers*

*Financing via Dell Preferred Services. If you choose to cancel your payments, you are responsible for paying off the balance of the 24-month term. Here’s the official fine print:

24-MONTH EQUAL PAY OFFER XBOX ALL ACCESS BUNDLES. No interest charged on promotional purchase if total purchase paid in full within 24 months. Available at time of purchase from 08/27/2018 through 12/31/2018, while supplies last. Monthly payments required. Purchase amount divided into 24 substantially equal monthly payments, rounded up to next dollar. Outstanding balances at end of promotional period are subject to terms of Credit Agreement for existing account holders. For new accounts: Rates range from 19.24% to 29.99% variable APR; Minimum Interest Charge is $2; subject to credit approval.

Here is a closer look at the bundles. Prices may vary based on taxes and delivery. We chose the best price for each console available as of this writing on Amazon.com.

The good news is you shouldn’t pay more than buying either console up front and then subscribing to Xbox Live Gold and Xbox Game pass over the next 2 years.

For those unable to afford an Xbox One X right now, but can afford the monthly payments for the console, Xbox Live Gold and Xbox Game Pass it’s not a bad deal.

I would urge you though to take into account that whilst and Xbox One X right now might look super appealing, we are already well into the second half of 2018 and the next generation of consoles is predicted to hit the market in 2020, meaning you will have just finished paying off the Xbox One X when its time to upgrade again – food for thought. Microsoft, if you’re listening, this would be a great offer when your next console drops – just saying.
