2020 BAFTA Games Awards – Nominations

I love the BAFTA Game Awards. For me, it’s like the video game equivalent of the Oscars. BAFTAs in film are the British version of the Academy Awards and are held in very high regard. I love that they apply that same level of scrutiny and seriousness to video games. In any case, BAFTA announced their nominations today for the 2020 BAFTA Game Awards which will take place on April 2nd, 2020. The nominees are:

I’ll be honest with you, not the best of years with only a couple of really stand-out games. Death Stranding and Control lead the pack with 11 nominations each, but I think we all know who the critics will go for.
