For Xbox owners and fans of the flight combat series Ace Combat, the latest instalment could be coming your way.

In an report released by Gematsu earlier today, Ace Combat 7 has been rated by the Taiwan Game Software Rating information board for both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
This is the first news of Ace Combat 7 coming to Xbox One after reports stating that it would be an exclusive for PlayStation, even being featured at this year’s PSX. While all the marketing for the game is still produced by Sony, and the rating from Taiwan Game Software doesn’t 100% confirm the game’s arrival on Xbox, the rating information is historically accurate for what happens for publishers.
Ace Combat 7 could be the latest in a series of timed exclusive from both PlayStation and Xbox, with games like Rise of the Tomb Raider and Street Fighter 5 eventually coming to consoles outside their initial exclusivity. Whether this will follow the trend of Destiny, Star Wars Battlefront, and Call of Duty with exclusive DLC, pre-order bonuses, and early access coming to PlayStation owners first is unknown.
Ace Combat 7 is slated for PlayStation 4 release in 2017.
