Black Ops 3 has been set on fire today with a huge number of teaser images, news updates and information regarding the next release in the franchise.
To begin with the Call of Duty official Twitter account has turned into Current Events Agg. for the day, posting various public safety announcements.
All of these announcements are a ‘real time’ event re-cap of the events that unfolded in Singapore two years ago (within the game) and the efforts that went into saving as many people as possible.
From there, The Unmarked Man has returned from his hiatus posting updates regarding the horrible hurricane in Singapore and pointing the finger towards Coalescence Corporation. Other questions he is raising are: “Why is the military so interested in shooting down civilian drones? Worried about losing control again?”
Again? This is getting interesting.
The next pieces in the puzzle have been revealed via the ‘callofduty’ SnapChat account with 3 main snaps being sent out this morning.
The first scene is of the disaster in Singapore, the second is of the explosion at the Coalescence Corporation, and the third is of fires burning out of control. All clearly a part of the puzzle to what exactly happened two years ago during the hurricane in Singapore.
So as we can see today’s updates are all about this one main event in Singapore, the corporation responsible and the fallout from the event. Just what this has to do with the Black Ops 3 campaign still remains a mystery.
