Capcom have released a creepy new trailer for the much anticipated next installment in the Biohazard saga, Resident Evil 7. Introducing new environments and characters, the video captures the gritty look of a found footage style film perfectly. In fact, Capcom have stated that this scratchy, fuzzy effect is apparent only in the clip and is not indicative of the visuals in the final game.
Resident Evil 7 takes place on a rundown plantation in Dulvey, Louisiana where something is most definitely amiss with the inhabitants. According to the PlayStation blog:
We now have some fresh new video that introduces more mysterious characters and offers a further look into the terrifying plantation grounds from the upcoming survival horror game. With this latest info drop, you’ll encounter Marguerite, another one of the mysterious family members in the game.

Resident Evil 7 will begin causing nightmares on January 24th 2017. It will be available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
