What would you do for the safety of your squad?

Call of Duty is a franchise known for cinematic battles, war and explosions galore. It’s no surprise then that the official Call of Duty: WWII story trailer has all these things however, that doesn’t mean it’s a brainless action-fest. We’re also going to see the horrors of war and a very human struggle to survive against the Nazi regime.

Obviously we’ll have to wait for the full game to release however, I’m all for a more subdued, personal story. We won’t be waiting long, as Call of Duty: WWII releases on November 3rd, 2017.

If you’re interested in the multiplayer aspect of this game, I recommend reading these private beta impressions. Be sure to also take a look at the Nazi Zombies mode reveal trailer. For some more information on the single-player side of things, you can take a look at the previous trailers, as well as check out the official story synopsis:

Call of Duty®: WWII tells the story of Private Ronald “Red” Daniels, a young recruit in the U.S. First Infantry Division who experiences combat for the first time on D-Day, one of the largest amphibious assaults in history. After surviving the beaches of Normandy, Red and his squad will fight their way across Europe, engaging the enemy in iconic battle locations such as the Hürtgen Forest and the Battle of the Bulge, as they make their way into Germany. The journey begins on November 3.
