Dishonored 2 Getting Custom Difficulty Settings and Mission Select

Dishonored 2

Dishonored 2 released on November 11, 2016. Critics and players alike agreed it was an absolutely fantastic successor to the original. With access to both Corvo and Emily, there were even more ways to dispose of foes or avoid them altogether. Now however, gamers will be able to fine-tune their experiences yet further. Bethesda has given more details on the upcoming Game Update 2.

Here’s the full list of features:
  • Added new mode (Iron Mode)
  • Custom Difficulties
  • Added Mission restart / Mission Select
  • Mission restart available from pause menu and result screen

Iron Mode is an optional feature, as players can activate it regardless of difficulty. Those who do so will be forced to weigh every action carefully, as saving and loading are disabled in addition to permadeath being in effect. Mission restart allows gamers to replay any mission after having completed it, making it easier to snag those difficult achievements/trophies like Clean Hands.

Game Update 2 will bring a huge list of bug fixes in addition to the features mentioned. If you’d like to see the list of patched bugs, please check the official Bethesda update notes.
