The GWENT: The Witcher Card Game open beta is live and rolling! To celebrate, CD Projekt Red has put out a new cinematic trailer for the open beta. Some information about GWENT: The Witcher Card Game:
From the creators of The Witcher series of games, developer CD PROJEKT RED, comes a different type of collectible card game. Based on skill rather than luck, GWENT encourages use of strategy and deception to defeat your opponents.
Command highly customizable armies, sling powerful spells, and summon mighty heroes with game-changing abilities.
Played in a best of three format, GWENT is fast, fun and fresh — and now you can play it with friends!

As a huge Witcher fan, I’ll definitely be diving into the open beta. Anyone who was in the closed beta will, I’m sure, continue to enjoy the beta as it opens up to more players. However, if you weren’t in the closed beta, you can go here to download the beta right now. It’s available on Xbox One, PC (through GOG) and PlayStation 4. Additionally, a Windows 10 version with Xbox Play Anywhere support is coming sometime in the future.

If you’re completely new to the world of The Witcher, with no idea how to play Gwent, don’t worry. There are plenty of tutorials and faction breakdowns to help you get started right here. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’m off to go work on my decks.
