Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom officially announced

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom
This will be the fifth movie in the Jurassic Park franchise

Fans of Jurassic Park, hold on to your butts because there’s cause for great excitement. Today, on Twitter, the sequel to Jurassic World was officially announced with a new poster. The official title is Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom!

Here’s the Twitter announcement:

That release date sets it up perfectly for the summer! Given the success of Jurassic World, which took in over $1.6 Billion at the box office, I imagine that this film will follow suit as a huge blockbuster. Additionally, whether it’s just an acknowledgement of the meme or there’s a greater meaning, it’s interesting to see the official tagline is Life Finds A Way.

While we don’t know much about the plot however, Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard are both returning. In addition, Jeff Goldblum will be reprising his role as Ian Malcolm. Who knows, maybe that’s reason enough for the tagline. Just what dinosaur-related disaster will ensue this time around? That’s anyone’s guess. That said, it will definitely be interesting to see just what new dinosaurs are introduced this time.

Regardless, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom releases in theaters on June 22nd, 2018. Personally, I’m super excited for this so hopefully we’ll be getting a trailer soon.
