It may have been somewhat concerning when it didn’t seem like Nintendo offered many inclusions on the Switch launch title list. However, Nintendo saved the best for last with their presentation as they toyed with the emotions of many eager viewers. They kept teasing the players with the unknown-at-the-time release date until they unveiled the AMAZING Zelda trailer to close out the show. The final screengrab of the entire show? “March 3, 2017.”
This helps boost the legitimacy and value of the Switch come launch day (especially when the best-looking titles shown don’t come out at launch). This will undoubtedly be Nintendo’s system seller with the Switch’s launch day right around the corner.
