Getting closer and closer to the present day now, E3 2014 should still be pretty fresh in the memory, with the usual major players of Microsoft and Sony hosting press conferences while Nintendo made a pre-recorded video announcement as they had done in 2013. There were also major conferences from Ubisoft and EA again. However Konami didn’t do their pre-E3 event as they had done the previous 3 years in 2014.
New games trailers and the like were the main focus in 2014, with very little hardware announcements from the 3 major console players, apart from Sony announcing an all white version of the PS4 which would be bundled with Destiny.
