Mega Man Legacy Collection on the way in September 2015

A compilation of Capcom’s 8-bit platformer Mega Man, is due to hit digital stores in September for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC in the form of the Mega Man Legacy Collection. There is a 3DS version being made however it won’t be available until early 2016.

If you are the sort of person that wants that disk sitting on your shelf though, a physical version is being made and is due to be released in early 2016 also.

So what will you be getting? The first six games from the Mega Man series that also includes a Challenge Mode which will really interest the veterans of this franchise.mm

Simulated tube TV displays will give you a real authentic old school 8-bit experience and you will also be able to scroll back through some of the conception art and character database.

The digital copy will only set you back $15 where as the physical copy will actually cost $30. There is no word yet on what bonus content you might be getting with the disk to make up for a 50% increase in price however Capcom have advised that more details on that will be available “at a later date”.
