Mirror’s Edge Series Coming to EA Access

Access program increases in value for money

Great news today if you are an EA Access subscriber; Mirror’s Edge (for the Xbox 360) and Mirror’s Edge: Catalyst (Xbox One) are both coming to The Vault on November 9th.

This means that if you are an EA Access subscriber then you will have full access to the two free-running games (if you didn’t download the original when it went free with Games with Gold), as well as a whole host of other titles that are published by EA. Titles include:

  • Titanfall
  • Need for Speed
  • Battlefield 4 and Battlefield: Hardline
  • Lots of the sporting franchises from EA (FIFA, Madden, NHL etc.).

The new additions were confirmed earlier on EA Access’ official Twitter account:

The program, exclusive to Xbox One, runs at $4.99 a month, or you can purchase a 12 month subscription is only $29.99. Considering the amount of games available for such a small cost, I think, it’s totally worth it. You cancel your monthly subscription at any time too. There is a similar subscription service available on PC called Origin Access, though no confirmation has been made that the Mirror’s Edge games will be available as yet.

It seems to be the procedure, of late anyway, that most EA titles eventually make their way to The Vault. Star Wars: Battlefront is hotly tipped to be the next title to be added in the near future.

Have you been hanging on to either of the Mirror’s Edge titles? Will this get you playing them? Let us know in the comments below or on the RGM Forums.
