‘Operator Billing’ allows you to buy games for Xbox using your phone bill to pay

Don’t like using your credit card on gaming platforms to pay for games? Me either, I prefer to keep those details to myself, however for many it can be their only method of making purchases on the Xbox Store. A new system is now in place that will change that though, with Microsoft introducing ‘Operator Billing’ which allows you to use your phone number to pay for games with the charges going onto your phone bill instead. Here’s how it works:

In case you’ve never heard of Operator Billing, it’s one of the most popular payment methods around the world because it doesn’t require a credit card. Today, many Xbox gamers use their phone number to pay for games, movies, TV shows and much more, and have the charges added directly to their phone bill. Best of all, once this payment method is added to a Microsoft Account, all future purchases can be charged automatically.
