Resident Evil 7: Biohazard Not a Hero DLC Delayed

Not a Hero DLC
The free DLC was originally promised to release in Spring 2017

If you’re one of the many gamers who has finished Resident Evil 7: Biohazard, you’ll recall that at the end of the game, new free content was promised to be coming in the next few months. This free Not a Hero DLC is to be separate from the Season Pass content, which includes two different packs, plus more unannounced content. Not a Hero focuses on the return of Chris Redfield and introduces a more action-packed chapter into the game.

However, the Not a Hero DLC has just been delayed. Today, Capcom put out this video explaining the decision:

On the one hand, it’s certainly disappointing that this DLC is being delayed. On the other hand, it’s certainly very encouraging that they realized the content simply wasn’t good enough. Given that it will still be released for free, I’m willing to wait if it means a better experience. Hopefully we’ll get a new release date soon.

In the meanwhile, if you haven’t played the newest entry to the Resident Evil franchise, I highly recommend reading our review. Personally, I found Resident Evil 7: Biohazard to be an awesome return to form. Whether you’re a jaded veteran of the series or a newcomer, I honestly believe you’ll really enjoy it.
