One of the many PSVR titles announced at E3 2017 was The Inpatient, a game being developed by Supermassive Games, the creators of Until Dawn. It serves as a prequel of sorts to the aforementioned game, where you play as a male or female patient who has been committed to Blackwood Sanatorium. Suffering from amnesia, your fate will be determined by your choices. While it won’t reveal much, if you want an idea of what you’ll be facing, The Inpatient has a disturbing new story trailer.

Certainly not a lot to go on however, I’m definitely interested. I really enjoyed Until Dawn, in spite of (or perhaps because of) its extremely campy elements. This seems to be taking a far more serious, psychological approach. If it provides a thrilling horror experience while perhaps answering more questions about the universe it shares with Until Dawn, I’m sure it will be good. You can add another game to the rush of holiday titles, as The Inpatient arrives on PlayStation VR on November 21st, 2017.
