If you’ve never played the original Witcher game, we have some exciting news for you. The Witcher: Enhanced Edition is free, at least for the next day and some change. Ars Technica and GOG are working together to give it away as a promotion. In order to redeem your free copy, simply go to the Ars Technica page here. Then, follow the instructions and head over to GOG to redeem the code. Do note this is valid for both Windows and Mac users. However, it’s not available on Linux.
While the gameplay and visuals have certainly aged, it’s still a great story. Since it’s being given away for free, there’s definitely no harm in grabbing a copy just to try it out.
