Xbox Game Pass launches next week! It is a Netflix-like subscription based service that will give Xbox One gamers access to over 100 games at launch.

*Update: May 24, 2017 @ 11:46EST* Xbox Game Pass is available for Xbox Live Gold subscribers right now. There is a 14 day trial period for anyone wanting to check out the library of games.

In case you’re wondering how this differs from the current Games with Gold service, here is a run down of Xbox Game Pass.
  • $9.99/month (US), $11.99/month (CAN),  €9.99/month (EU), £7.99 (UK), $10.95 (AU)
  • Xbox One and Xbox 360 (backwards compatible) digital download titles. Games are installed to your console.
  • Games will NOT work on Xbox 360. This service is for Xbox One consoles only.
  • Xbox Live Gold membership is not required. Xbox Live Gold membership is required for online multiplayer.
  • Games are playable online and in offline mode. Features like online multiplayer will not be available in offline mode.
  • 20% off the purchase of any games listed in Xbox Game Pass and 10% off all related add-ons while they are listed in the Xbox Game Pass catalog.
  • Xbox Live Gold members have first exclusive access to games being added to the Xbox Game Pass catalog.
  • Does NOT replace the current monthly Games with Gold service.
  • Free 14 day trial.
  • You will not lose any achievements earned if the game is removed from the Xbox Game Pass catalog.
