After the clear immediate demand for the NES Mini, Nintendo seems ready to make some additional moves to please those fans of their old-school consoles. Thanks to a report that states Nintendo has filed for a trademark for the SNES controller, it would seem that a potential re-release on-par with the NES Mini seems very likely.
Unfortunately, no new information has been posted outside of this, but the chance to play Donkey Kong Country and Super Mario World on the original controllers is far too enticing to pass up. Nintendo, you know what to do.
