Oh Seth Green, Mass Effect won’t be the same without you at the helm of our ships. The latest video in the Mass Effect Andromeda Initiative series is dedicated to showing off the Tempest and the Nomad land vehicle. Throughout the video, the narrator, Kalo Jath, that discusses the ship and Nomad and states that they are the Tempest’s pilot. Sounding very Salarian-like, they show off many screenshots/concept art (from the looks of it) of the ship’s rooms, including the player’s quarters. Also, for experienced ME players, when Jath mentions that the Pathfinder room is off-limits “unless invited,” did anyone get nostalgic to those times back at Shepard’s cabin?

The second half of the video discusses the Nomad and it’s looking good. Jath discussed the boosters for when you want to go faster or when you need an extra boost while in the air. They also showed off the concept of mining for resources, which is done through deployable mines from the Nomad. Also, customization was teased with the mentioning of the Nomad’s different paint jobs. Hopefully, these paint jobs don’t just become a vehicle for microtransactions and DLC (EA, behave yourself).
There are surely going to be more of these kinds of videos, so be sure to stay tuned as we get closer to the release day of Mass Effect Andromeda!
Mass Effect Andromeda comes out March 21st and will be released on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
