Halo Infinite fans have another event to look forward to as the Cyber Showdown event is expected to launch tomorrow on January 18, 2022.
Just like past events, such as the 20th Anniversary, HCS Spotlight, Winter Contingency, and Fracture Tenrai, Cyber Showdown will bring new items for players to earn for free or purchase from the store.
According to Twitter’s @leaks_infinite, the event will run from January 18 – January 31, 2022 and feature 10 new cosmetic awards and the following game modes:
- One Flag
- King of the Hill (KOTH)
- Capture the Flag (CTF)
One of the modes to look out for is Attrition. This is a new game mode that has been accessible in offline game modes but has had little attention so far. This may change during the event. This game mode features a shrinking safe zone as well as the ability to revive teammates – can you say Battle Royale?
Seasoned Halo players will surely remember King of The Hill. This game mode has players try and hold a single point on the map as long as possible to earn points while keeping opponents out of the zone. It is a chaotic and fun mode that we’re happy to see as it adds more variety to the multiplayer playlist.
We’ll see you on the battleground Spartans! Be sure to check out our Halo Infinite game clips on our Halo Infinite RGM Community Page!
