Destiny 2’s Prestige Raid now requires Curse of Osiris

Destiny 2's Prestige Raid
Base players can no longer access the Prestige Raid

Destiny 2: Curse of Osiris is now live, with players enjoying the new Heroic Strikes, story content, increased level cap and more. There is however one change that I think players will not be excited about. As it turns out, Destiny 2’s Prestige Raid now requires the new DLC in order to play.

Is this the biggest issue in the game? No, there are far more pressing matters. The fact remains however that this is still locking players out of content they previously had access to. Now, it is possible that there are balance reasons or other things mandating the change, nevertheless, for players who had wanted to play the Prestige Raid but hadn’t decided to pick up the DLC yet, this is very disappointing. Bungie has been a little more open lately about feedback from the community, so hopefully they’ll address this soon. In the meanwhile, if you have a PS4 Pro or Xbox One X, don’t forget to download the latest patch for better visuals!
