When Warner Bros. first announced that they were remastering Arkham Asylum and Arkham City, Batman fans rejoiced. What could be better than re-playing two of the best titles from last generation with supposedly updated visuals? Unfortunately, when the first trailer was released a few months ago, some noticeable visual discrepancies were found and in a few instances, the remasters were quite obviously graphically inferior when compared to the last gen versions.
Warner Bros. delayed the game to hopefully clean up the problems and have, just now, released a PS4-PS3 comparison video on YouTube to display the improvements and allay any fears that the remasters are not high quality productions. Take a look at the clip below and decide for yourself.
A new launch date has also been unveiled. Gamers will be able to don the cape and cowl once again when Batman: Return to Arkham releases for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on October 18th.
